Description
In this talk, I would like to review the physics of
fractionalization of fermion numbers in localized states in
several condensed matter systems. The main focus of the
talk would be on realization of these states at the edges of
superconductors with non-s-wave pairing symmetry and
their possible signature in tunneling conductance and
Josephson effect. Time permitting, I would like to discuss
the fate of these states in time-reversal broken systems.
