Description |
Remote sensing is the science of making inferences without coming into physical contact with the object under study. The speaker will explain the basic concepts of remote sensing satellites built and flown by India. Space-borne instruments have been extensively used in many applications, such as agriculture, forest status, water resources, the tracking (advance/retreat) of glaciers, infrastructure development, cyclone track-prediction, ocean state, weather-forecasting, climate change etc. |
