Description
In this talk, I will touch upon a few of the projects I am currently involved in. I will speak about a project on development of plasmonic-polaritonic coupling in 2D materials such as Graphene. Other projects I will speak about are the development of plasmonic nanohole arrays for biomarker free detection and Stimulated Brillouin Scattering in Fiber amplifiers and the approaches to model and control these. Switching gears, I will mention some of the work I am interested in furthering: development of methods and algorithms for 3D photonic device design based on self avoiding walks and other approaches. Finally, I will also give an overview of the Faculty of Engineering & IT: research and facilities
