Description
We present a search for the exotic decay of the Standard Model (SM) Higgs boson to a pair of light pseudoscalar bosons (mass range 20–60 GeV), which can further decay to two b-jets and two photons in the final state. Such signatures are predicted in some beyond-the-SM scenarios, including the Next-to-Minimal Supersymmetric SM. Our search is based on the VH (V = W/Z boson) production mode of the SM Higgs boson using full Run-2 data recorded with the CMS detector. Our final states are one (two) triggered lepton(s) coming from the W (Z) boson, along with two b-jets and two photons. As part of our service tasks, we will also present timing studies and test beam analysis involving the high-granularity calorimeter.
