Description |
With the availability of enormous desktop computing power, many companies are resorting to computer modeling and simulation for virtual prototyping and testing to accelerate product development. Many design variations can be investigated at a fractional cost of making real prototypes. Electronic industry has long used computer modeling based design techniques. However, modern products combine functions involving multiple energy domains (electrical + mechanical + fluidic + thermal, etc.) often integrated on a single chip. Modeling of such complex systems is a challenging task. In this talk, I will briefly talk about some techniques used for modeling such multi-energy domain systems with examples from inkjet products from HP.
