In continuum space-time theories the scheme of trace dynamics suggests that canonical quantization might be an emergent phenomena from statistical thermodynamics of underlying theory. In this approach fundamental degrees of freedom are non-commuting matrices, while the theory involves some non trivial conserved quantities. We will try to see if this underlying theory can be extended to the cases where classical background is also treated as the fundamental variable of trace dynamics. |
