Description |
The evidence for global warming in the last hundred years is
accumulating. There is, however, some lingering doubt among some about the culpability of human beings. There have been theories attributing the global warming to variations in sunspots or galactic cosmic rays. There are others who wonder whether the increase in carbon-dioxide could be a part of natural cycle. Some attribute the global warming to emission of soot. These issues will be discussed in this seminar and the interplay between science and politics will be highlighted.
