The Minimal Supersymmetric Standard Model (MSSM)
predicts a pair of charged Higgs bosons (H±) along with three other
neutral Higgs bosons. At the Large Hadron Collider (LHC), dif-
ferent mechanisms can lead to the production of the charged Higgs
bosons, depending on the mass of the Charged Higgs bosons. Light
charged Higgs bosons (90-160 GeV) can be studied in the events
containing top-antitop (t ̄) pairs, while the heavy charged Higgs
t
bosons can get directly produced. Extensive searches for such
charged Higgs bosons considering various decay modes have been
performed with the recent ATLAS data and the results will be
presented in this talk.
