Description |
SN 2012aw is a type-IIP supernova which exploded in M95. In this talk I will present the radio observations of
this supernova and results of modeling them to determine the important parameters relevant to the explosion .
I will also explain the importance of cooling mechanisms in studying the radio emission and determine
the dominant cooling process important to this source. I will also talk about the other interesting supernovae
we are studying: namely SN 2004dj, SN 2009bb, SN 2011dh and SN 2011ja.
I will present the results of long term monitoring of these objects done using GMRT.
