Description
We discuss the possible realizations of frustrated magnetic systems by
exploiting the properties of Rydberg excitations in an ultra cold
atomic setups. In particular, we focus on designing interactions
between atoms which gives us a toy model for quantum spin ice on a two
dimensional checkerboard lattice. In addition, the implementation of
Balents-Fisher-Girvin model in a Kagome lattice using trapped ion
setup will be considered.
