Description
Plasmonics is the field of interaction of electromagnetic radiation (light) with metal nano-particles. In this talk, I will present novel application of plasmonics in the field of chemical gas sensing, especially in analyzing a complex mixture of gas analytes. Apart, from chemical gas sensing, I will also present a novel technique for detection of hardware Trojans using plasmonics. This is a paradigm shift in the hardware Trojan detection technique and initial studies have shown promising results.
