Neutrino physics from precision cosmology

Description
Neutrino physics provides perhaps the prime example of the interplay between particle physics and cosmology. For example the neutrino mass can be measured from cosmology in a way which is complementary to measurements from beta decay and neutrinoless double beta decay experiments. In this talk I will review the basics of neutrino cosmology, with an emphasis on how the presence of neutrinos alter the formation of cosmic structure. I will then proceed to discuss how this effect can be used to probe neutrino properties from precision observations of the cosmic microwave background and the large scale structure of galaxies. Finally I will present new results on how neutrinos cluster on smaller scales and how this affects the structure of galaxies and clusters of galaxies.
