Body movement is essence of life. Disability or even constraint in movement of a body part often leads to significant compromises to aspirations and goals of our life. A brief introduction to the anatomy of the spine in particular relevance to the causes of backache will be given. While describing the activities of our daily living affecting our postures, distinction will be made between good and bad posters. Finally, I will conclude by suggesting various treatment options for backache, including some very simple exercises.
