The field of quantum optics studies optical phenomena that are beyond the scope of classical electromagnetic theory [1]. We will give a brief introduction to some correlation effects that are encountered in this field. We will then discuss a particular method of controlling such correlations for the single-photon case [2]. Finally, we will present a general scheme for creating and controlling correlations between two or more photons [3].
