We will briefly review the basics of jet sub-structures and it's relevance for boosted top tagging. We will then explore the application of top tagging for new physics searches like the massive charged Higgs decaying to top and bottom quarks in the context of two Higgs doublet model. We also demonstate the application of boosted top tagging for studying the chiral nature of interaction vertex using the polarization of reconstructed tops which can be used to probe supersymmetic theories.
