There is an extensive, ongoing dark matter search program at the LHC that explores several dierent types of possible interactions between WIMP-like dark matter and standard model particles. The dark matter searches at the LHC are complementary, and in case of certain models, signicantly more sensitive than the direct and indirect dark matter searches. In this talk I will discuss the agship monojet search that looks for dark matter particles recoiling against an energetic jet.
I will then turn to some of the key searches for rare decays of the Higgs boson that open a window to new physics. Recent results from searches looking for signs of dark matter in the invisible decay of the Higgs boson will be discussed. Finally, the status and prospects will be presented for the search of the Higgs boson decays to a pair of muons - the single most sensitive probe of the Higgs boson interactions with second generation fermions. |
