The cosmic microwave background has been an extremely successful cosmological probe, and there is still a vast amount of information in the microwave sky that can be used for cosmology and fundamental physics. In addition to the primary fluctuations in the early universe, we are now routinely using the CMB to measure large-scale structures in the late universe. I will talk about current efforts, using the South Pole Telescope as an example, and discuss the new physics frontiers that can be studied with future experiments.
