Description |
The top quark has often been touted as a beacon for new physics beyond the Standard Model and, with its occasional anomalous behaviour, it does seem to point to specific possibilities. On the other hand, it could actually obscure many such signals, and, in particular, an imperfect knowledge of the top can lead to insubstantial claims. Thus, a careful study of the top is imperative. In this talk, I discuss some of these issues. |
