Description
Left-Right symmetric theories motivated from restoration of parity
violation at high scale can also give rise to small neutrino masses
naturally through the seesaw mechanism. This also implies violation
of lepton number and Majorana nature of neutrinos which can be probed
by neutrinoless double beta decay process. In this talk I will
discuss the impact of TeV scale left-right symmetric models for
neutrinoless double beta decay. We show that in such scenarios a
large contribution to the effective mass governing neutrinoless double
beta decay can be obtained even if the neutrinos are not
quasi-degenerate, thus evading the cosmological bound.
