Description |
Optical lattices are emerging as amazing emulators of Hubbard-type models for bosons and fermions. I will address some of the major challenges in mapping out the finite temperature phase diagram of such strongly interacting models. I will also discuss the distribution of entropy in the trap and how that can be used to cool the system to see ultra-low temperature phases. |
