Description
We present the results of photoemission studies of remarkable Ce-, and Yb- based materials, exhibiting unique properties like Kondo physics, heavy-fermion behaviour, and mixed valency. One of the important our finding is that the temperature evolution of the 4f electronic structure in these systems indeed, strongly deviates from the usual expectation based on predictions of Anderson models, like SIAM and PAM, which are normally used to interpret the photoemission spectra of Kondo systems. The results, giving the valuable insight into the long-standing puzzle named as "Large-Small" Fermi surface transition in Kondo materials, will be presented and discussed.
