Description
The prime focus area of the presentation is LIBS studies on High Energy Materials (HEMs). The work was carried out based on two approaches. First one includes study the behavior of spectral features originated from plasma and also to study the temporal dynamical variations of different species for some HEMs samples. Dynamical spectral behaviors of elemental/molecular formation mechanism with nanosecond (ns) and femtosecond (fs) laser plasma for HEMs could provide an opportunity to explore more in the applications related to these materials. The second one about the exertions of HEMs includes classification and technological aspects of LIBS. This work focuses on development of some simple methodologies for classification of HEMs using LIBS spectral data (obtained with ns and fs pulses).

Another part is on ultrafast laser ablation techniques in liquids to fabricate nanoparticles and nanostructures. Some photonic applications using nanostructures and nanoparticles will be
elucidated.
