Description
In this century, knowledge from science will not only benefit human society, but it will also be used in the education system to make our students become better learners from young ages. For this to happen, it is necessary that scientists find ways to distribute knowledge in new ways. One such way is "Frontiers for Young Minds" – a science Journal for kids, edited by kids. The journal is open access and free to publish in. It is now translated into major world languages and has reached close to 3 million kids around the globe. In my talk, I will give an overview of this project.

About the Speaker:
The initiative "https://kids.frontiersin.org/" is aimed at bringing current science to school kids, by involving them in the process of communication as reviewers. Prof. Sabine Kastner is a researcher in neuroscience and is one of the co-founders of this effort and was the co-recipient of the "Education in Neuroscience Award" given at the Society for Neuroscience, USA, this year.
