Description |
This talk will focus on what it takes to build universities in higher education from the ground up. Drawing on his experiences in being part of the founding teams of the Indian School of Business (ISB) and Ashoka University, the speaker will focus on the critical aspects of vision and governance, teaching and research, and administration and culture. The talk will highlight the key decision points and trade-offs involved in building higher educational institutions. Using the case studies of ISB and Ashoka, the speaker will illustrate how these ideas have played out in real life as well as discuss existing and future challenges.
