Description |
“We have recently developed tools and performed experiments to search for and to study unconventional states of matter such as antihydrogen, weak interacting massive particles and the electromagnetically bound system of a pion with a kaon, thereby spanning a broad range of energies between meV and TeV. I will report on the progresses and results obtained with the ATHENA, ArDM and DIRAC-II experiments at CERN, describing also some of the experimental challenges, in particular when detecting photons from scintillation or Cerenkov radiation” |
