Description |
The multispecies exclusion process is a natural probabilistics model that we consider on a one-dimensional lattice with periodic boundary conditions. Since the 1990s, there has been a lot of work on constructing the stationary distribution by statistical physicists as well as probabilists. I will review past work on this model by both these communities and describe some of my work with collaborators. Very recently, this model has come up in the analysis of random walks on certain Coxeter groups. Time permitting, I will present some new results in that direction. This is joint work, in parts with C. Arita, K. Mallick, S. Prolhac and S. Linusson. |
