Description |
This talk will describe the basics of manipulation of mesoscopic particles in liquid and then progress, in particular, to describe recent work on trapping in air and vacuum. For the latter case, this offers the prospect of trapping and cooling to the quantum ground state and exploring concepts such as rotational vacuum friction. |
