Description |
Homo Sapiens originated in Africa about a million years ago. They moved out of Africa about one hundred thousand years ago and went on to populate the rest of the world over the next 75,000 years. A lot of circumstantial and genetic evidence supports this broad scenario. We have developed a simulation framework to understand the details of this migration. We will discuss the current scenario of our understanding of genetics of human migration. We will present results of our simulations on large scale migration over the whole of Euro Asia, the island of England and the Indian subcontinent. |
