Description
Measurement on inclusive jets of different cone sizes are useful to probe the underlying physics at different levels (perturbative, non-perturbative) and also to estimate the impact of resummation implemented in parton shower models in Monte Carlo simulations to describe the data. The differential and integrated cross sections of inclusive jet production have been measured for a number of jet sizes, reconstructed with anti-kT algorithm, using the data collected in 2016 by CMS detector from p-p collision at sqrt(s) = 13 TeV. Ratio of cross section of anti-kT jets of various sizes has been taken with respect to anti-kT jets of size 0.4 and is also used as an observable to compare data with different QCD event generators.
