Description
I present the details of a unifying gravitational paradigm for relativity and dynamics, which I call Cosmic Relativity. In this first part, I will prove the necessity for a change of the spine of physics and then go on to derive the fundamental results and predictions of a paradigm based on, and consistent with, the real gravity of the matter-energy in the observed universe. This will be followed by the discussion of results from some crucial experiments on the propagation of light and the time dilation of clocks. I will briefly explain the important application to GPS clocks, clarifying and correcting the current theory of clocks in motion. I will discuss the laws of dynamics as well as the age old problem of the origin of inertia and the inertial forces. This then naturally leads to the complete understanding of the physical basis of the weak equivalence principle and the universality of free fall. I will conclude the first part with a surprising prediction of a definite violation of the Einstein’s Equivalence Principle; clocks in an accelerated frame are not equivalent to clocks in a gravitational field.
