Description |
Higgs physics measurements as a probe of new physics are one key topic in all discussions on future colliders and constitute one major element of cross-comparison and synergy. After summarising the current status at the LHC, I shall outline what are the Higgs prospects at various future facilities considered at the moment. A particular attention will be devoted to the Higgs self-coupling due to its relevance to the hierarchy problem and the fate of the electroweak vacuum. It is notoriously intangible at the LHC. I shall show how to probe this coupling in a global fit of the Higgs data, relying in particular on the use of differential measurements in the associated single-Higgs production channels in addition to the traditional double-Higgs production channel. |
