Description |
It has been close to 90 years since Majorana proposed the possibility of the neutrino being its own anti-particle, the only fermion that has this possibility. While this is ruled out within the framework of the Standard Model of particle physics, the question remains open after the latest results from neutrino oscillation experiments showing that the neutrinos have non-zero mass. We will review and discuss some old and new proposals to determine the nature of the neutrino. Reference: 1) C S Kim, MVNM, D Sahoo, Phys Rev D105, 113006 (2022) |
