The initial net-baryon profile injected into the fireball as a result of the relativistic heavy ion collision (RHIC) is a crucial ingredient in our understanding of the dynamics of QCD conserved charges in RHIC which in turn can be used to probe the QCD phase diagram. The directed flow of proton, anti-proton and their split has been an elusive observable for models to capture. This is mainly due to our ignorance of baryon stopping - an appropriate baryon deposition profile that can be further used as an initial condition for further hydrodynamic evolution. We use a suitably tilted fireball that captures the directed flow of pions. Further, we propose an initial net-baryon profile which on further hydrodynamic evolution yields directed flow of proton, lambda and their anti-particles which is in qualitative agreement with that of data as measured in the STAR Beam Energy Scan program. This could help us to understand the suitable initial condition of QCD conserved charges as appropriate in RHIC which further can be used to provide consistent baseline prediction for other observables like higher moments of conserved charges, polarisation etc.
