Description
Set the mood with exciting opportunities for PV industry and technology.

The economic growth scenario projected for India in the decade ahead is promising. However, dismal power scenario in India mandates exploring and deploying Renewable sources of energy. Solar has distinct advantages. Jawaharlal Nehru National Solar Mission set out by the Government of India has ambitious target of reaching 20,000 MW by 2020 .

The largest industry player in Solar, Tata BP Solar has executed number of projects covering `Access to Energy’, `Energy to Business’ and `Grid Connect Power’ and is poised to respond to the mega opportunities opening up.

Moving ahead, solar industry needs policy excitement and scale of deployment to propel R&D and innovation, thereby drive costs down.
