Description
I will be discussing about the different types of carbon nanostructures i.e. carbon nanotubes and graphite nanoplatelets. Their use as high efficient electrocatalyst for improving fuel cell efficiency in both direct methanol fuel cells (DMFC) and proton exchange membrane fuel cells (PEMFC). Nanofluid which is mainly focused for coolant application can also be synthesized using high conducive materials like metal nanoparticles, carbon nanostructures and their composites. Effect of these materials on thermal conductivity of nanofluids will be discussed.
