Description
This talk introduces concepts of Signal Processing and Digital Signal Processing (DSP). It will then dwell on the Real-Time DSP issues such as Prototyping, Design and Development, Memory, Direct Memory Access as well as its performance parameters. Before concluding with future scope and research, some of the DSP applications in Audio, Image, Video, Computer Vision and Machine Learning will be highlighted.

 

About Dr. Ganesh Bhokare:

Dr. Ganesh Bhokare did his B.E. Electronics from V. J. T. I. Mumbai followed by M.Tech and Ph.D. from IIT Bombay specialising in Signal Processing. Before moving to Apical Limited UK as a Design Manager and Chief Architect, he worked at various semiconductor industries, including Cirrus Logic, TI and Conexant System. Dr. Bhokare possesses 23 years of hands on experience in the development of DSP, audio, image, video, video analytics algorithms in C/C++ and MATLAB on various embedded platforms.
