Description
Cosmic Censorship Conjecture predicts that space-time singularities will always be hidden by event horizons. But present research shows that there may be situations where naked singularity may arise in Astrophysics. In my talk I will show how a naked singularity can arise from the initial conditions in a cosmological scenario. I will also discuss the signatures of naked singularity on gravitational lensing, galactic rotation curve and other astrophysical phenomena.
