CIBRA and Covid -19: Tasks and Challenges

The Colaba Intra-Building Residents Association (CIBRA) is the committee of TIFR housing complex, in-charge of looking after the welfare of residents. The committee composed of few residents who happily come forward to volunteer to work for the housing complex. Typically, CIBRA is responsible for maintaining common facilities and organising a few group activities such as sports and cultural etc. Incidentally, when the lockdown started in March 2020 due to the Coronavirus outbreak,  suddenly CIBRA is found to be in the spotlight. The main focus of CIBRA was to keep the community Covid free and it to had to put huge efforts to achieve it. It was a challenging task for CIBRA to ensure safety, taking on various responsibilities and implementing ever-changing rules and guidelines. In this talk, we will share our experiences and thoughts about what we have gathered during this difficult period.
