Description
In this talk, I will present how long-baseline neutrino experiments, especially MINOS (Main Injector Neutrino Oscillation Search) and DUNE (Deep Under Ground Neutrino Experiment), help us to understand our universe better. The talk primarily focuses on the detector system of these two experiments and how we probe models that explain the existence of Sterile neutrino and the potential of next-generation Liquid Argon experiment (DUNE) to discover the leptonic CP-violation. I will also briefly touch on how the DUNE experiment is preparing its first data collection, expected in mid 2027.
