Description
In this talk we will present our initial study on search for a signature of the top squark (or stop quark), the supersymmetric counter part of the top quark, targeting the parameter space with high tanβ and/ or higgsino like gauginos, in a di-tau final state. In our study one tau decays hadronically and other tau decays leptonically (electron or muon). In this talk, preliminary study of top squark search in CMS experiment using both 1ττh + 1τ muon and “1ττh + 1τ electron final state will be presented. This study is done with 35.9 fb-1τ of data collected in 201τ6. The selection of signal events, main background condtributions, data driven fake background estimation method and expected exclusion limit on the top squark mass will be discussed in the presentation.
