About Vrunda Pathare:

Vrunda Pathare, Head, Godrej Archives, was instrumental in setting up the Godrej Archives and establishing archival processes as an integral part of the organizational activity at Godrej.  She is currently the Secretary of the Steering Committee of the Section on Business Archives (SBA) of the International Council on Archives (ICA) and President of the Oral History Association of India (OHAI). Vrunda is also a member of the Steering Committee for the Dr. Avabai Wadia and Dr. Bomanji Khurshedji Wadia Archives for Women and of the Academic Council of Maritime History Society, Mumbai. 

Vrunda has authored a monograph titled Arthur Bedford Orlebar, Founders and Guardians of The Asiatic Society of Mumbai (ISBN 978-93-85509-36-0) published in 2018 as a part of the Asiatic Society Monograph Series. Her essay titled ‘Overview of Business Archives in India’ was published recently in the 3rd edition of the publication - 'Business Archives in International Comparison' published by Section on Business Archives (SBA) of International Council on Archives (ICA) in 2021.

With a postgraduate degree in History from the University of Mumbai and training in Records Management from the National Archives of India, she has contributed to the field through research, publications, and presentations at national and international conferences. She started her career as a Research Assistant to Sadashiv Gorakshkar (Former Director, CSMVS; Past President, Commonwealth Association of Museums) on following two projects: 1. ‘Rajbhavans in Maharashtra’ – a book published in the year 2002 and 2. ONGC Museum Project, 2003-04. She also worked as Assistant Archivist at TIFR Archives of Tata Institute of Fundamental Research.


About Puja Vaish:

Puja Vaish is Director at the Jehangir Nicholson Art Foundation (2020-present). The JNAF functions as the Modern and Contemporary Art Wing of the CSMVS Museum in Mumbai. Vaish's recent curated exhibitions include, 'Out of Place: Journeys in Indian Art',  'Nasreen Mohamedi: The Vastness, Again & Again', 'Zamin: Homelands, S. H Raza' and 'Ancestors', by Sahej Rahal. 

Previously, she was a curator at the Dr. Bhau Daji Lad Museum (2013-2019) where she engaged with art & design collections of colonial India spanning the 1800s - early 1900s. She was a research writer for the recent publication on the museum's collection, edited by Tasneem Mehta. Exploring textile histories, she co-curated an exhibition with the museum's director with contemporary artists alongside the museum's collection.

As an art educator, Vaish was lecturer at the Faculty of Fine Arts, Baroda(2008-2009), Delhi College of Art (2009 & 2010), the Kamla Raheja Vidyanidhi institute of Architecture(2010-2014) and managed the art history & criticism course at the BDL Museum(2014-2019).  Puja Vaish received the gold medal and the Nasreen Mohamedi Award at Faculty of Fine Arts, Baroda where she completed her Bachelors and Masters(1999-2005) in Painting, following which she worked as a practicing artist and held exhibitions of her works.


About Mortimer Chatterjee:

Mortimer Chatterjee along with his wife, Tara Lal, co-founded Chatterjee & Lal as well as 47-A, a design gallery. Based in Mumbai, the galleries are focused on contemporary and historical material; the founders also consult for major corporate collections, including the Taj Group of Hotels. Chatterjee has authored and co-authored several publications including a publication on the art collection of the Tata Institute of Fundamental Research (TIFR) (along with curating an exhibition of that collection at the National Gallery of Modern Art, Mumbai). He is editor of an evolving series of publications on disciplines across the arts spectrum, the first of which was focused on modern Indian art.

About Oindrila Raychaudhuri:

Oindrila Raychaudhuri, a graduate from the University of Calcutta, is associated with two leading Archives of Mumbai the Archives of the TIFR as a Consultant Archivist and the Archives of the CSMVS (formerly Prince of Wales Museum of Western India) as a Consultant Research Facilitator. She is also looking after the TIFR Art Collection and regularly organises Art Walks in TIFR where the art lovers of Mumbai can get a glimpse of the priceless collection.
