Description
The Outer Space hides many mysteries. Foremost amongst these are Black Holes and Space-time Singularities. Current observational missions such as the Event Horizon Telescope and Gravitational Waves observatories have recently contributed much towards understanding these entities. We will discuss these current developments and the emerging insights will be highlighted. In particular, the shadows cast by ultra-compact galactic central objects throw intriguing light on fundamental physics issues such as Black Holes, Naked Singularities and Quantum Gravity.
