Lattice 2025

The 42nd Lattice Conference. The series of an International Conference on Lattice Field Theory is an annual conference was initiated sometime in the early 1980. The goal was to gathered all the leading experts in this area on an annual basis, and have them present seminars on their recent research activity before the large audience. The audience consists mostly of theoretical high-energy physicists with a direct research interest in Lattice Gauge Theory. Over the years the annual “Lattice” conference has become an extremely prestigious activity and the number of participants has increased dramatically to as much as 400. In the past twenty-three years, the following conferences were held in the Asia continent, viz., “Lattice 2000” in Bangalore, “Lattice 2003” and “Lattice 2015” in Japan, and “Lattice 2009” in China. This year “Lattice 2024” was held at UK. The several Indian Lattice Gauge theorists felt that it would be a good idea to hold 2025 event in India and accordingly an effort was made to generate a consensus among world experts in the subject that “Lattice 2025” should be held in India, and finally with an enthusiastic response from all an idea is to become a reality.
