Description
Lipids are important biological molecules that are involved in various processes in the human body. While dietary lipids such as cholesterol and triglycerides are well known, lesser abundant yet biologically very important signaling lipids have remained enigmatic to the general public. In this talk, I will discuss one such enigmatic signaling lipid called lysophosphatidylserine, and tell you what all my lab has done towards understanding its importance in the human body, and its association to emerging human brain and immune system related diseases.
