Description
We present non-supersymmetric, isometry-preserving perturbations to the infrared region of the warped deformed conifold, i.e. Klebanov-Strassler solution. One of these solutions can be interpreted as placing a number of anti D3-branes at the tip. We argue that perturbations cannot break imaginary self-dual condition unless the internal geometry is "squashed". We also consider a relative of semi-direct gauge mediation where the hidden sector exists at large 't Hooft coupling using the supersymmetry breaking solutions including the effect of anti D3. Such a scenario is difficult to describe using traditional field theory, but is amendable to the techniques of gauge/gravity duality.
