Description |
Quantum quench is considered in 2D CFT's with additional conserved charges besides the hamiltonian. Local observables are shown to thermalize to an ensemble average. The ensemble is universal in the sense that is specified by only the conserved charges of the initial state. The thermalization rate has a universal lower bound, which depends on these conserved charges and some algebraic properties of the most relevant operator of the CFT. A holographic interpretation of these observations is provided in terms of higher spin black holes. |
