Public health and implementation research occupies an interdisciplinary space that lies between Medical, Biological, Mathematical, and Engineering Sciences. Interdisciplinary marriages remain uncommon and multidisciplinary marriages even more so. I will discuss recent efforts where we used information technology, systems biology visualisation tools, and Bayesian frameworks to gain novel understanding of public health in India, while creating a framework for integrating transparent and effective healthcare delivery with big data collection for tomorrow's medicine |
