Description
The new muon g-2 experiment at Fermi Lab has started to confirm 3+ sigma discrepancies to the standard model value. There is another totally different g-2 experiment planned at J-PARC. I will report current status of lattice QCD calculations for hadronic contributions to muon g-2, hadronic vacuum polarization (HVP) and hadronic light-by-ligh (HLbL), which are essential for the successful discovery of the long-awaited new physics.
