Description
Higher dimensional gravity theories when reduced to two dimensions has
infinite number of symmetries in it. The symmetry group is called the
Geroch group. Geroch group allows one to associate space-time
independent matrices with gravitational configurations that
effectively depend on only two coordinates. The construction of Geroch
group matrices is discussed for various black hole examples like 5D
Myers Perry and 5D Kaluza Klein BHs. Relation between these Geroch
group matrices and charge matrices are also discussed. (Reference:
