Description
Supersymmetry is one of the most popular choices for physics beyond the Standard Model. However, the two CERN LHC based experiments, ATLAS and CMS have found no direct hints of superpartners so far. This has put stringent lower limits on the masses of these hypothetical particles. In this light, U(1)R symmetric models are well motivated as they can relax the bound on the superpartner masses. In this Talk, we shall discuss a particular U(1)R symmetric model with a right handed neutrino superfield, where the R-symmetry is identified with lepton number. The model provides rich and interesting phenomenology in the Higgs sector, neutrino sector as well as in the Dark matter sector. Another advantage of such models is the possibility of light top squarks. We shall discuss the collider signatures of such light stops in the paradigm of this model. Finally, these class of models can also explain the recent observation of 750 GeV diphoton excess.
